Ye Banks and Braes is also known by the title "The Banks O' Doon".  A BRAE is a Scottish or Northern Irish word for a steep hill or bank.  This piece starts out with a light and airy countermelody and goes into the original tune with a fairly easy accompaniment. This three page arrangement is simpler compared to most of my arrangements.
